Rode from Hillsboro Village to the art crawl last night. Then over to Dino’s on the eastside, a house party with a bonfire at some guy’s insanely nice house, and Coach Vs. Kase at 12th and Porter. Continue reading for more photos (all by Dylan).

The Infinity Cat Next Big Nashville show at The End Saturday night was beyond amazing and so much fun. Heavy Cream (love you Daniel), Natural Child (you too, Seff!), and Jeff were all amazing. I got kicked in the face three different times by Cy, lost my shoe, crawled on stage, Keef found my shoe, then I got pulled back onto the crowd by Seth’s girlfriend and Daniel. Basically, it was an awesome night and my legs are covered in bruises. Here are some pictures of Natural Child and Heavy Cream (respectively) at the Rat Patrol Party at Daniel’s (the last time I saw Heavy Cream play).

Keith and I stumbled across one of Fagen’s stoop pieces while riding around campus on Sunday.

I have recently become an author for the Candy Cranks blog. If you’re not exactly sure what that is, you have probably heard about their awesome “my bike is better than your bike” shirts (posted a few days ago on Trackosaurus). I’ll primarily be writing on Nashville happenings and such. You should definitely check out their site (especially girls who ride or want to get into riding). They have great information and updates about riding all over the world, and all of their authors are girls! I’m really excited to get to be a part of this!
Yesterday’s Where the Wild Things Ride was a definite success! We all met up at Halcyon, rode downtown to the Shelby Street Bridge, and crossed the river over to the Greenway. After a stop for some water at the Nature Center we rode through the Greenway to Opry Mills, ate some delicious lunch, and then watched Where the Wild Things Are on IMAX. We had a great turnout and the ride ended up being a lot more fun than I had even anticipated. More pictures here on Keef’s Flickr.

The first ever Nashville Scaredy Cat will take place on October 31st. The race is hosted by 2Wheels1Crank and Halcyon Bike Shop in conjunction with Skumlife and Cupcranks. Sign up and registration is at 2 p.m. at Centenial Park in front of the Parthenon. The race is free an there are a lot of great prizes. This will definitely be a lot of fun, and there will be both a guys’ and girls’ bracket, so if you’re in the Nashville area, get out there and race! Sponsors include: Surly, Origin 8, QBP, Keirin Culture, and Velocity. Poster designed and created by Keith Gallagher
