You might have already caught the official announcement on Burro’s blog, but if you haven’t, I recently joined the Burro team! After getting in touch with Jack concerning an event I was organizing, he asked if I’d be interested in trying out their Chronic Straps. After riding these straps for the past several weeks, I have to say, I absolutely love them! They’re really my ideal foot retention strap. They manage to combine an incredibly durable, tough strap while getting rid of the metal that drove me crazy with my old straps. Not to mention they allow for very detailed adjustments that never slip, so they’re perfect for my tiny feet. Needless to say, I was totally in when Jack asked me to be a part of the team. I’m so pumped to work with Burro and for all the great things to come!

Just got a new wheelset for my Vigorelli: Velocity Aeroheads laced to Shimano Dura-Ace 7600 track hubs (Thanks, David!). I switched my saddle out to a black Brev. M Sellino and am loving it. The shape is really similar to my San Marco Concor Supercorsa. I also have some Brev. M track grips on my Nitto RB-021′s now, which I really prefer over the Champs I had on there before. Continue reading for more a few more detailed shots of the build.

T.J. over at Fixed Cult is doing bike checks for the fam. I’ve changed a few things, so go check mine out for an updated build list of my ESB!

Cara just built up her new All-City Dropout, and it is looking so sick! I’m loving the white, purple, and green colorway. She built it up right, so check out the full bike check below.

Issue #23 of Urban Velo will be out at the end of this month. I wrote one of the articles for this issue, so be sure to pick up a copy at your lbs or check it out online!
