Rolling Stone’s latest issue, lists out their take on the “Best of Rock 2011.” It features a slew of titles from “Best Soul Superstar” to “Best Secret Weapon” to “Best Road Warriors.” Amongst them is, of course, “Best Music Scene, which named none other than Nashville, TN. The Stone cites us as the home of Jack White, Kings of Leon, the Black Keys, Ke$ha, and Taylor Swift with the declaration that there is a reason for their choice of location.

So Keith and I seriously failed and slept through Natural Child’s release show for 1971. Looks like it was an awesome time. For every one else who, like us, missed this one, here’s a video of them playing a new song (not on the record) at the show. They have three shows coming up in the next week, so be sure to get out there and hear the new stuff in person.

The Red Bull Ride and Style is finally here! Doing laundry and packing right now. Keith and I will be in SF around 3:00 this afternoon. Can’t wait to ride with every one and compete!
