While in L.A., Keith and I went with our friend Sean to a night screening of the cult classic and my personal favorite, The Warriors, in the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. The event, hosted by Cinespia, brought in hundreds of attendants, many in Warrior themed costumes, and featured a d.j. set by Cut Chemist, a photo booth, and unlimited free play on vintage pinball machines. Continue reading for more of my event recap as well as photos of both the event and the cemetery itself. You can also check out my Flickr for the full photo set.
We were lucky enough to get in early with one of the photographers, so we ended up with perfect seats for the showing and were able to wander the cemetery and take photos before the crowds arrived. Hollywood Forever is a really interesting place that boasts many celebrity graves, including those of Dee Dee and Johnny Ramone. Overall, it was a really fun night and a very cool experience. Cinespia is hosting three more cemetery screenings in the next two weeks, so if you find yourself in Los Angeles, give their schedule a look, and try to make it out to one. Oh and if you ride your bike there, you get to cut the line and go in before every one else!

I’m just havin’ a good time!
