Anthony Green’s video for “Get Yours While You Can,” the first single off of his second solo effort Beautiful Things (via Photo Finish Records), is now premiering on both MTV and MTVU (on air). The video was filmed in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and directed by Isaac Ravishankara. I had the pleasure of being a part of the video, and you can see me riding my Volume Vandal around Anthony as he lays dead on the ground. The entire time all I was thinking about was not running Anthony over, especially as the director wanted me as close as possible when I did the footjam to fakie to slider and again when I had to fake eat it into an invisible wall. Fortunately, I did not run Anthony over and actually had a really good time filming this. Both Anthony and Isaac were so incredibly awesome to work with. Anthony is seriously one of the most humble and nicest people you’ll ever meet and Isaac was just an all around positive guy. So go check out the video! You can also catch Anthony backed by Good Old War and accompanied by The Dear Hunter performing on his ongoing Beautiful Things Tour. I shot his recent sold out show in New York, so expect some photos from that soon. Hit the jump for a full list of tour dates.

This is my build up of the new Volume Vandal. I am seriously so pumped on this! All of the waiting was definitely well worth it. Big thanks to Volume, Resist, Velocity, and Burro! Hit the jump for the full bike check and a few more photos of the build.

Everything I’ve ever heard about Velo Cult was absolutely true. For those who don’t know, Velo Cult is a bike shop located near Balboa Park in San Diego, California. This shop is seriously badass, and I can easily see why many call it the best bike in shop the country and even the world. The atmosphere of the shop if very relaxed and friendly, and the guys working there are incredibly nice. After Keith and I told them where we were from, they recalled that a guy from Nashville had been in the shop earlier that day. It happened to be our friend Richard, who’s been traveling literally all over the world with just his bike and a backpack for the past several years. We gave him a call, and while waiting for him to arrive, we were offered a cold beer, which was definitely welcomed on a particularly hot day for San Diego, and sat around chatting about traveling, riding in different cities, bike trails, and touring routes. This past weekend’s Red Bull Ride + Style was even more awesome than it was promised to be. The closed course crit races were intense, and the freestyle course saw a lot of bangers. Here are a few pictures Keith took during the event. You can find more here.

The Red Bull Ride and Style is finally here! Doing laundry and packing right now. Keith and I will be in SF around 3:00 this afternoon. Can’t wait to ride with every one and compete!
